Team Collaboration

Bring your team together.
Keep work moving.

Connect team conversations, tasks, time tracking, and activity insights in one workspace. Give managers a clearer view of what is happening across the team and help everyone stay accountable.

Image placeholder A small team of three or four colleagues working together at a shared table in a modern, naturally lit workspace — one pointing at a laptop, the others leaning in. Candid and unposed, real people in everyday work clothes; no high-fives, no headsets, no healthcare setting. Leave the right third calm for the product panels.
Wisemelon team workspace (design concept). In the Operations team chat, Sara asks who can take the Oakline return before the customer drops it off at 3 PM, and Leo replies that he will take it. Beside the chat, the task "Process Oakline return" now has Leo Martin as owner, due today at 3:00 PM. Below, the team's week shows 18 tasks completed, 7 in progress and 2 overdue.

Internal team chat

Keep team conversations
close to the work.

Give your team a shared place to discuss tasks, ask questions, share updates, and coordinate next steps. Keep internal communication organised so important details do not disappear across disconnected conversations.

Internal team conversation beside a related task (design concept). In the #operations space, Maya Lin from Sales tells Rohan Das that Harbor Foods confirmed a 40-unit order and asks whether Operations can deliver by Friday. Rohan says stock is fine but he needs the loading-bay window. Maya shares the order confirmation and will ask the customer. Rohan moves the related task, "Confirm delivery slot for Harbor Foods", from To do to In progress. The task panel shows Rohan as owner, Maya as requester, due Thursday 15 October, and a checklist with one of three steps done.

Task management

and what comes next.

Assign responsibilities, track progress, and keep important work moving. Give each task a clear owner and help managers identify delays before they become bigger problems.

Task board showing ownership, due dates and work status (design concept). Three columns: To do with four tasks, In progress, and Completed. "Stock count: Warehouse B" moves from In progress to Completed. The selected task, "Confirm delivery slot for Harbor Foods", is open on the right: owner Rohan Das, due Thursday 15 October, high priority, next action "Book transport for the 7 to 9 AM window", and an activity history from creation in #operations to the customer's loading window being added.

Access & permissions

the right access.

Keep collaboration organised while maintaining control over who can access team information and manage work. Set permissions around each person’s role and responsibilities.

Team & department coordination

Connect teams
without losing ownership.

Help departments work together without losing track of responsibilities. Make handoffs clearer, keep updates accessible, and ensure everyone knows what needs to happen next.

For example, a sales team can hand a confirmed request to operations, while a support team can coordinate internally to resolve an issue.

FAQ

Team Collaboration FAQs

Working with customers rather than with each other?

Explore Customer Support
What is team collaboration software?

Team collaboration software helps employees communicate, coordinate tasks, share updates and manage work together. Wisemelon Team Collaboration brings internal communication, task ownership, recorded time and team activity into one organised workspace.

Can managers track team activity in Wisemelon?

Managers can review activity summaries, recent task updates, completed work and pending tasks for the teams they manage. What appears depends on how your team uses tasks and time entries in your setup.

Can Wisemelon track the time spent by team members?

Where time tracking is enabled in your setup, team members can record time against tasks and activities, and managers can review daily and weekly summaries of that recorded time. The figures come from recorded time entries, not from screen or keystroke monitoring.

Can managers see what tasks each team member has completed?

Where your team tracks work as tasks, managers can review each person's assignments, current statuses, completion history and outstanding work.

Can I control what each team member can access?

Access is managed through roles, such as owner, manager and team member, and can be organised by department where supported. The exact permissions available depend on your plan and setup.

Does Wisemelon support internal team chat?

Team Collaboration includes internal chat for discussing work, sharing updates and coordinating tasks with teammates. Where supported in your setup, a conversation can be connected to the related task so the context stays together.

Can teams manage work across departments?

Teams can hand work from one department to another with a clear owner, status and next action at each step. How handoffs run depends on the task and workflow setup in your workspace.

How is Team Collaboration different from Customer Support?

Customer Support focuses on conversations between your business and its customers. Team Collaboration focuses on internal communication, task coordination, team activity and accountability.
